I have THE most tender rib recipe for you today and a story at the end. This recipe uses a secret ingredient and they are cooked in the slow cooker which makes them fall off the bone.

So while I was working on this recipe, I was in the second round of testing and suddenly found myself with a lot more ribs then my family could eat. I run each of my recipes multiple times, but these I tested a few extra times to make sure it was just right so they were tender and juicy every time.

So it's 9pm at night and I have a whole rack of ribs hot on a pan. So I texted a friend who was in the neighborhood. Are you home? Are you around?

She had just got home from work. She hadn't even taken off her shoes yet but when I told her I needed a rib taste tester she was back in the car on her way.

The verdict? "Oh my goodness, my family would demolish these!

Three ribs later... "Wait, what's the recipe for these? I'm trying to think of some constructive criticism here but... I really just want another one."

So we stood chatting and laughing standing over the pan and I wouldn't have it any other way. A recipe like this is just meant for sharing.
