Hi Reader, Fridays this time of year were meatless meals for growing up in my house. Does this happen at your house too? It can tricky to find meatless meals that everyone likes when you have a picky eater. When you do, not only can they be great for things like Lent on Fridays if you're practicing, but they can stretch budgets for any family. We could all use to save a little money with the price of groceries lately, geesh!
Since we lived in Ohio and seafood besides Long John Silvers wasn't really plentiful, it usually meant meatless meals at our house on Fridays before Easter. I'm pretty sure as a kid I just ate rice and hush puppies anyways, ha! My family eats seafood sometimes now, but not as often as I would like. Does your family eat seafood?
