Snack attack! A few after-school ideas to add to the rotation

Hi Reader,

After school hunger is real, but sometimes they want something filling and sometimes they just want to graze. Here are some of my favorite snack ideas that are easy to pull together and worth making.

One Bowl Chocolate Chip Zucchini Muffins

These double as breakfast and snacks, and freeze great!

Monster Cookie Energy Bites

This no bake snack is packed with oats peanut butter, and a few mini m&ms to make them more fun.

Garlic Ranch Pretzels

Ranch pretzels only take five minutes to make, and the whole family will keep grabbing for them!

Mummy English Muffin Pizza

You don't have to make these mini pizzas into mummies, but it sure makes them a little more fun.

Air Fryer Apple Chips

Great fall flavor, just make sure to cut the apple thin so it dries easily!

Pepperoni Rolls

These use a can of crescent rolls, and make a great heartier snack. Make'm in the oven or air fryer. A double batch can be helpful!

Sour Cream Banana Bread- Recipe Spotlight!!

Reluctant Entertainer

Sharing this delicious sour cream banana bread recipe today from my friend Sandy. Honestly banana bread becomes a counter snack in our house, and this one would be perfect after school too.

See you soon with more recipes!

Hi Reader, Let’s be real—pizza is almost always a win. Some nights, we go all out with homemade dough, and other nights, store-bought crust saves the day. No matter what, making pizza at home is always a hit with my family—especially when we try new toppings or even reinvent pizza. Pizza Night Recipes The homemade pizza dough recipe can be used in any recipe that needs a dough base, but you can also use store-bought dough. Ready to add the toppings? We like classic pepperoni pizza, but also...

Hi Reader, Is it really game day if you don't have at least one dip on your snack table? Tailgating is almost a sport in itself in the Midwest where I grew up, so if you love a good dip you're in the right place! Dips For Game Day Cheesy Spinach Dip - This warm cheesy dip is always a crowd pleaser, I like to have a mix of a thick bread and bell peppers to dip for crunch. Crock Pot Rotel Dip - This cheesy isn't the prettiest dip on the block, but the taste will have everyone coming back for...
